Beginning with a piece of reclaimed wood, I experimented with mesh and string as painting tools, as well as dimensional paint. During the warm months, I create in my outdoor studio because being in nature is a creative inspiration for me. That inspiration I believe was particularly effective in this piece which pushed traditional boundaries.
